I took wedding photos of Ashley and her hubby Marc a few years back, so it was so fun to catch up with this fun, family shoot with the extended family. Plenty of happy kids at Wheeler Farm! It was such a pleasure to work with such a beautiful family.

My dear friend Megan was one of my bridesmaids and I was so excited to shoot her and her fiance Marc who met at our alma mater, Westminster. So what better place for our photo shoot that our home campus?

It was a pleasure taking bridals of the gorgeous Miss Amy before she became Mrs. Brown. Her wedding at Log Haven was absolutely stunning and I was so happy to be a part of it. Plus, she sort of gives Barbie a run for her money -- this girl is gorgeous!

If rain on your wedding day is a sign of a good future, then these two love birds are very lucky in love. It was pouring rain on their wedding day, but the fog and romance made this mountain affair a gorgeous day at Millcreek Inn.

I'm a little ashamed at how long it has been since I blogged! I've been pretty busy with work, photo shoots and the general excitement of summer to keep up. Anyway, I haven't been MIA from the world of photography, so I have plenty of fun shoots to share. 

First, I had the honor of taking bridals of the lovely Danelle followed by her wedding at Millcreek Inn. I absolutely love her porcelain skin with her gorgeous white dress. 

I was lucky enough, once again, to photograph the always-fabulous Cabaret of Fools hosted by the Utah-based, internationally-touring, Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company. This is a stunning event each year and I was honored to be a part of it. Here's a peak at the foolish charms that awaited us all. 

And of course I couldn't resist the mirrors in the bathroom, so I finished it off with a self portrait.

I adore family photo shoots because it's so amazing to capture a their personality as they relate to each other; the love, joy and connection between family members. The Johnson family is all laughter, snuggles and silly faces and we sure had an adventure on this shoot. The clouds were looming while I waited for them and about five minutes before they came, the downpour really began. When the rain pours you have to run for cover and splash in the puddles. We could have rescheduled, but when you spend the time to get two kiddos ready and plan out the whole thing, sometimes it's worth it to just go for it -- and so we did with great results!
